Other than removing a partition wall and re-plumbing the bath, the layout of this small east Sacramento bathroom remained the same.

After total demolition of the space and some minor structural and electrical work, the project was mainly cosmetic.

Walls and floors were covered in a soft-colored white marble. Clever use of mirrors and lighting enhances the size of the space, and custom-built mahogany cabinetry keeps the bathroom devoid of clutter.

An antique, cast iron bath was purchased and re-finished, and the remaining fixtures and fittings are new and streamlined.

All in all, a wonderful juxtaposition of materials and, more importantly a remodel that is both timeless and classic.
